VMS offers its members a host of services that are designed to encourage medical excellence through education.
(Free) Third Thursday Webinar Series
In an effort to keep Vermont’s physicians up-to-date on legal, regulatory and practice management issues of importance to their practices, the Vermont Medical Society hosts a monthly series of free webinars. Taking place the third Thursday of each month from 12:00 p.m. to 1 p.m., the webinars are open to VMS members, practice staff, and others interested in the practice of medicine. For each session you will receive 1 AMA PRA Category 1 credit.
VMS helps physicians fulfill continuing medical education requirements by hosting several CME programs during its annual meeting and, upon request, will document members’ fulfillment of CME requirements.
Through a partnership with the Massachusetts Medical Society VMS members now have discounted access to approximately 30 world-class online CME offerings. Additionally, the Vermont General Assembly has enacted a number of new regulations regarding CMEs that VMS members should be aware of.
